In one more Spanish football chapter, Valencia CF faced up RCD Espanyol in an encounter where none of the teams shown frighten to its rival. At the beginning of the game Valencia managed to keep the control until Espanyol achieved the first score. The tight end of the Arizona Cardinals and 26 years-old Stephen Spach, is out for the rest of the season due to a tore ACL on his right knee, the injury happened while doing a block during the second half of the game against the Carolina Panthers last Saturday. Spach was a great help for the Cardinals in the running game, especially by his blocking abilities, which were an important weapon in the progress of the Cardinals classification. The front-office veteran of 41 years-old George Kokinis was hired to be the general manager for the Cleveland Browns, filling the place of Phil Savage, who was fired few weeks ago due to the bad performance of the team. As well, head coach Romeo Crennel was fired and replaced by the former coach of the New York Jets Eric Mangini on January 7th, and he was who recommended Kokinis to the GM position. Both Koninis and Mangini began their career in the NFL at Cleveland in 1991 and have been close friends for years.

The Sooners are now 20-2 overall and 8-0 in the Big 12 Conference games. Moreover, it has to be mentioned that their superstar Courtney Paris set historical records in the NCAA Division I in rebounds, field goals and points. Paris is now a senior and has been an extremely important player for the Sooners this past 4 years. Despite some people has criticized her weight, Courtney Paris has demonstrated everyone that she is a great athlete and an amazing basketball player on and off the court; she has currently a record of 112 double-doubles in her career with the Sooners.
